We teach life skills through improv education
Through improv, we empower our students to speak confidently, collaborate effectively, and persevere in the face of adversity, equipping them to succeed within and beyond the classroom

what we do

Mission
Our mission is to equip students with the building blocks for personal and professional success through the power of an improv education.

Problem
In Philadelphia, 74% of students leave high school feeling unprepared for college and their careers. Improv can help students develop skills relevant to life beyond the classroom.

Workshops
We run a free 9-week series of improv workshops in middle and high school classrooms, taught by professional teaching artists and in collaboration with classroom teachers.

Professional Development
We’re empowering our educators to bring improv into their classrooms by offering for-credit professional development workshops online.
Why Improv?
Improv (improvisational theater) is a performance art in which we don’t rely on a script. Anyone can use improv as a powerful tool to build communication, collaboration, and resiliency skills.
